In its effort to fulfill the mission of improving the quality of life in Oklahoma, Sarkeys Foundation opens its doors to nonprofit agencies across the state and region. The saying “more than a checkbook” may very well become S.J. Sarkeys legacy. The Foundation focuses much of its efforts on providing high level professional development opportunities through seminars, conferences, retreats and programs. Trustee Terry West said “our educational programs may well be our legacy and will ultimately have a greater impact on the nonprofit community than direct grants.”
